A new collaboration to support neurodivergent youth
At United Minds Charitable Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a path to thrive—not in spite of their differences, but through the unique strengths they bring to the world.
That belief is at the heart of our newest initiative: Learning Differently, Thriving Boldly, a partnership dedicated to supporting children with learning and developmental disabilities, including autism and dyslexia.
Supporting children with learning & developmental disabilities
Understanding the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent children, United Minds Charitable Foundation has partnered with Arunodaya, a respected special needs center in Nagpur, India. In regions where resources are limited, Arunodaya stands out as a beacon of hope and impact. Together, we’re working to create inclusive, practical pathways to empowerment.
This collaboration focuses on providing students with essential sensory teaching tools, specialized books, and adaptive learning aids—resources that help children learn in the ways that suit them best. Our goal is to meet each child where they are, and build from their individual strengths.
But the initiative goes beyond the classroom.
Skills that build confidence and future
The cornerstone of this program is trade skill development, thoughtfully designed to align with each student’s unique learning style and interests. Trades currently being explored include:
- Culinary arts
- Printing and graphic design
- Handicrafts and creative work
- Music and sound therapy
- Computer literacy and basic IT skills
These are not only creative outlets—they’re powerful tools for independence, income, and confidence. Our goal is to equip students not only to contribute, but to thrive boldly in ways that feel authentic to them.
